Key Steps Toward Success

The following page shows the key steps toward successful launch via the i.LEVEL Connect platform.

Step 1 - Set Yourself Up

Before uploading product you should ensure that your Company and Brand details are correct and that you have filled in any details that you need for dispatch note and delivery processes.

Step 2 - Upload Your Products

Using the guide Product File Upload and the template provided prepare your products for upload. Remember to take note of the field rules, lengths and mandatory required fields. If in doubt send an email to help@ilevelsupport.co.uk with questions.

Start with a small batch until you are happy you understand the process. Fill in as many of the fields as you have to save time later.

The product file upload action is described in the Product section under resources.

Once your file is uploaded check the status of the file in your File Listing.

Step 3 - Upload Images

If you are using images linked via URL's (recommended) you will need to follow this step. Using the guide Image File Upload and the template provided prepare your image file for upload. Remember to use the main product code you used in your product upload to match the images to the products.

If you include product codes that have not already been successfully uploaded then your image file will fail.

Once uploaded and processed the images can be viewed against the products in the product detail screen.

Step 4 - Enrichment

Now that you have products with images you can push products to the enrichment process for the host platform you are connecting too.

The detailed instructions for this can be found under Enrichment. Once in the enrichment listing the products can be enriched folowing this guide and onde approved will be uploaded to the host platform.

Step 5 - Uploading Stock

At any time after step 2 you can upload stock against your products using the guide for Uploading Stock.

You can do stock uploads at any time to update the stock levels as you require. The host system will manage the stock within their system during the day and any orders that come back in to the i.LEVEL Connect system will decrement against the levels that you have uploaded. All uploads are treated as replacement stock levels and are absolute.

You must use the variant code or the barcode in your stock file uploads to match against the product variants that you have previously uploaded. Variant codes or barcodes in your file that do not match against previously uploaded products will result in a file upload failure.

Optional - Uploading Prices

At any time after step 5 you can push prices to the host platform. In the first instance prices will be set by the RRP and Sell Price (if used) that you uploaded with your products.

Price uploads allow you to manage any price changes such as promotions and discounts or price uplifts. For more detail on these please look at Price Files and Uploading Prices.
