Transfers

Description

The transfer listing shows a list of transfers made to concession stores. Here the user can create new transfers, print delivery notes and generate barcode print jobs for specified transfers.

New

Using the +New button the user can create a new transfer. The following screen will popup for the user to enter the transfer reference and choose the transfer type.

In the new transfer screen the user must choose the warehouse from which the stock is being transferred from.

The user will:

  • Select the products and set the quantities.
  • Select the stores to which they want to transfer stock to.
  • Validate the quantities for the selected stores

Edit

Double clicking on a transfer will allow you to edit the transfer if it is at the appropriate status otherwise itl will simply display the transfer details.

When editing a transfer you can change and add quantities (stock allowing) but you will not be able to change the transfer source or destinations.

Actions

Actions that can be performed on transfers are listed below.

Enter Picked Quantities

This allows the user to manually enter the picked quantities against the transfer.

Mark as Dispatched

This allows the user to mark the transfer as dispatched. Marking the transfer as dispatched will remove the stock from the inStock figure and clear the demand that the transfer was creating.

Cancel Transfer

This allows the user to cancel the transfer. This will remove any demand that the transfer is creating against stock.

Query

The query menu allows the user to perform searches via the custom search window "General Search" and the "Advanced Search" option.

Print

The print menu provides the following options.

Dispatch Note

This generates a PDF dispatch note which can be printed by the user or emailed to the store.

Barcodes

This option allows the user to create a barcode print job for each of to the selected transfers. For each transfer item a barcode will be printed for the quantity on the transfer of each item.

Requires Additional Resources

This feature requires the desktop webPrint application be installed and and configured with a suitable barcode printer.

The user will be presented with the following dialog:

Here the user must choose an available barcode printer and a barcode print format. The system will then generate a print job for the desktop printing application to pick up and process.
